It all started after I, Juan Carlos, obeyed a God's vision asking me to introduce myself to Libia in 2008 during a trip to Bogota, Colombia. She was an evangelical Christian raised in the small town of El Bagre, Antioquia in the country of Colombia.

Three years into the marriage, my wife had the desire to visit her family in El Bagre. For this, I arranged a family vacation/missions trip by contacting one local pastor in the town and one pastor in the remote village where my wife spent her early years. It was at this trip, that we realized that there was an explosion of evangelical Christianity in Colombia; but the lack of sound biblical principles was hindering the transformation of the town. Gang and political violence, broken families, neglected children, debt-infested workers, sharp Christian denomination divisions and legalistic doctrines were prevalent despite the staggering amount of professing evangelical Christians attending more than 100 small churches in this town of around 70,000 people. God opened a door to influence a few pastors with sound exhortation and to help their congregations with bibles and healthy Christian teaching resources.
